Meet the Coral Gables Team Behind TruePane Windows & Doors

We’re a local crew, not a rotating cast of subcontractors. The people who measure your openings in Coral Gables are the same people who set the glass, trim the frame, and walk you through the warranty paperwork before the truck leaves your driveway. Every technician on this team has been trained the way Dale Kessler learned from his father: measure twice, set true, and stand behind the work in writing. Between us we’ve installed and replaced windows and doors in more than a dozen Coral Gables neighborhoods, from the Georgian colonials near the Biltmore to the mid-century ranches off Riviera Drive. You’ll see the same faces from estimate to final inspection.

Our People

Marco R., Lead Technician

Marco has been setting windows and doors in South Florida for 19 years, the last 11 of them with TruePane. He’s our certified lead for impact window and door installations, and he’s completed manufacturer training through PGT, CGI, and Andersen. Marco handles the load-bearing calculations and anchoring schedules on larger openings, including sliding door walls and corner glass. He’s the person who spots the difference between a rough opening that’s a quarter-inch out and one that’s a half-inch out before the first shim goes in. Marco grew up in Westchester and still plays softball at Tropical Park on Thursday nights. When a homeowner in the Gables has a question about how an impact system is anchored, Marco’s answer comes with a pencil sketch and the exact fastener spec.

Luis V., Senior Installer

Luis joined TruePane nine years ago after working hotel maintenance on Miami Beach, where he learned that quick fixes have a way of coming back at the worst possible time. Since then he’s installed and replaced hundreds of residential windows and doors, with a specialty in energy-efficient retrofits and sliding patio doors. He’s certified in low-E glass handling and is our go-to for tight interior installs inside historic Coral Gables homes, where plaster walls and original trim mean every cut has to be respectful. Luis is the quiet one on the crew, but he notices everything: a frame that’s drifted over time, a worn roller that should be replaced now rather than later, a drip edge that sits too close to the stucco. He lives in Fontainebleau with his wife and two kids and can tell you where to get the best croqueta within ten minutes of any job site in the 33134.

Deb C., Service Coordinator

Deb is the voice you’ll hear when you call (954) 507-3613. She’s been answering the phone at TruePane for seven years, and she’s the reason a live person picks up 24 hours a day, seven days a week, not a voicemail tree. Before joining us she spent ten years dispatching for a commercial plumbing contractor in Doral, so she knows how to sequence a workday and how to tell a homeowner the truth about lead times. Deb coordinates permits with the City of Coral Gables building department, schedules the free estimates, and keeps the paperwork for The Keystone Standard moving: both manufacturer warranty layers registered in writing, durations stated, before the truck pulls away. She grew up in the Gables and still lives off Ponce de Leon, so when you mention your street, she probably knows it. If you ever call and ask for a straight answer about timing or cost, Deb gives it to you.

Anthony T., Apprentice

Anthony is in his second year with TruePane, apprenticing under Marco and Luis. He came to us after three years doing rough carpentry on residential new construction up in Broward, and he’s working through our training path toward full installer certification. Right now Anthony handles the precision work that gets overlooked on rushed jobs: prepping and sealing rough openings, setting flashing tape, cleaning and leveling sills, and making sure every piece of debris leaves the house at the end of the day. He’s also the one who double-checks the corner-to-corner measurements before any glass gets ordered. Anthony lives in Little Havana and is slowly becoming fluent in the architectural vocabulary of old Coral Gables: oak thresholds, coral rock sills, jalousie replacements. He asks good questions and writes everything down, which is what we want from someone who will be on this crew for a long time.

One Standard, Every Job

Every one of us works under the same rule Dale Kessler set when he founded this company in 2008: if the pane is not true, the job is not done. That’s not a slogan on a truck wrap. It’s the reason Marco re-checks a header before cutting any new opening, the reason Luis won’t caulk over a gap he would not accept in his own house, the reason Deb registers both warranty layers before the crew leaves your driveway. The Done Right Promise applies to every job, no paperwork fights and no arguing. We show up when we say, in uniform, background-checked, with a square deal on the table before any work begins. The crew you meet in Coral Gables is the same crew that stands behind the work for years after the job is finished.

What Neighbors Say About TruePane Windows & Doors

★★★★★

"Impact windows on the whole house. They handled the permit, the inspection, and gave me a folder with every approval number for the insurance company. My windstorm premium dropped enough to notice."

BBill T.
★★★★★

"A casement crank had stripped and the sash was swollen shut. The technician, Ray, fixed the crank on the spot and only then talked about replacement for the three windows that were genuinely done. That is why the whole street uses them now."

EEleanor G.
★★★★★

"Eleven windows replaced in two days. The crew chief, Marcus, showed me the level on every single frame before they caulked it. My wife noticed the street noise was gone before I did."
